What is the average cost for boat and RV storage?

The cost of a vehicle storage unit depends on the size, type, and location of the unit. Uncovered parking is the most affordable form of boat and RV storage. Meanwhile, covered and indoor storage offers increased protection but at a higher cost. Refer to specific facility pages for pricing information.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept credit card payments and ACH.

How do I pay for boat and RV storage?

You can pay online, use the RecNation app, or call your local RecNation facility to set up automatic payments.

When is rent due for boat and RV storage?

Rent for your boat and RV storage unit is always billed on the first of every month.

The answer depends on the vehicle you’re looking to store and the type of storage unit you’d like to rent. If you’re unsure what size will work best for you, contact our team. We’ll help you find the perfect fit. 

How do I access my boat or RV in storage?

Our facilities are always accessible to current customers, regardless of the time of day. RecNation facilities are secured by perimeter fencing and exclusive gate access. Current customers can access the facility with their unique gate code or with our mobile app remote access feature.

What features are available for vehicle storage?

Available features vary. Throughout our facilities, you’ll find a wide selection of uncovered, covered, and indoor vehicle storage options. All of our facilities offer 24-hour access and exclusive gate access, and your nearest RecNation location may include other high-quality features, such as:

What security features are there for boat and RV storage?

Our facilities are always fenced, and gate access is limited to current customers. Furthermore, our facilities are recorded with 24-hour video camera surveillance. If you’re looking for top-notch security, a fully enclosed storage unit is individually locked and provides better protection for your boat or RV on all sides. 

Discounts

Do you offer senior, military, or first responder discounts?

We are proud to offer a 5% discount for seniors and a 10% discount for first responders, active military personnel, and veterans.

Do you offer any discounts if I rent more than one unit?

If you’re renting multiple vehicle storage units, we’ll work with you to figure out the best pricing options for your needs. Don’t hesitate to give us a call!

Do you offer any discounts if I pay a year in advance?

If you pay for your boat and RV storage a year in advance, you’ll receive the 13th month free! *available at select locations*

Lease

How long is a lease for a vehicle storage unit?

All of our storage units are rented on month-to-month contracts. Rent for your vehicle storage unit is always billed on the first of each month.

Do I need to sign a long-term lease agreement?

Not at all. All of our leases operate on a month-to-month basis. However, you have the option to pay a full year in advance to receive the 13th month completely free! 

What documentation do I need to provide to rent a unit?

To rent a unit, you need proof of registration, insurance, and a valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license, state ID, military ID, or passport). These must be provided within 10 days of signing the lease agreement. 

When can I move in?

You can move into your storage unit seven days in advance of your first payment.

Your lease says no propane. What about my camper propane?

Propane is only allowed when it is necessary for the operation of a vehicle. Contact us with further questions regarding propane or other concerns with the lease agreement.

How much notice do I have to give to move out? Do you refund unused rent?

Please provide a 30-day notice before moving out of your rental unit. We do not provide refunds for unused rent.
